The program calculates the relative humidity according to the readings of dry and wet thermometers of a psychrometric hygrometers types VIT-1, VIT-2 manufactured by Shatlygin & Co. LLC at different speeds of aspiration.

The calculation is made in accordance with GOST R 8.811-2012 "State system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements. Psychrometric tables."

Additionally, microclimate analysis is carried out according to the Scofield-Sterling diagram and according to GOST 30494-2011 "Residential and public buildings. Microclimate parameters in rooms".

Psychrometric hygrometers of the VIT type are intended for measurements of relative humidity of air and ambient temperature in rooms.

The principle of operation of hygrometers is based on the determination of the relative humidity of the environment by the difference between the readings of "dry" and "wet" thermometers using a psychrometric table.

Structurally, the hygrometers consist of a plastic housing, in which two thermometers are installed - "dry" and "wet". On the back of the case there is a plastic tank (feeder), necessary for humidification of the "wet" thermometer by means of a wick. Next to the thermometers on the body of the hygrometers is a psychrometric table calculated for an aspiration rate of 0.5 to 1 m/s.

The value of relative humidity is defined in this table as the value that is at the intersection of the row that corresponds to the readings of the "dry" thermometer, and the column that corresponds to the difference between the readings of "dry" and "wet" thermometers (according to GOST 8.811 -2012).

Psychrometric hygrometers VIT-1 and VIT-2, manufactured by Shatlygin and Co LLC, are not suitable for operation, according to the waste classification, they belong to the IV hazard class (low hazard, with a low degree of environmental impact with average recovery period 3 years) and disposed of in solid waste landfills in accordance with the established procedure.

The plastic and paper elements of the hygrometer structure are separately classified as hazard class V (harmless, pose the least hazard to the ecological situation and practically do not disturb the ecosystem), and can be recycled.
